Home Sweet Home

I have recenty started to take some cake classes. I go every Monday every week for 6 weeks. I was super excited about this because I want to eventually have my own cake business. But before I started my classes I wanted to do a practice cake and see what I could come up with on my own before the classes. That way at the end of the class I want to make a cake and compare the difference and see how much progress I have made.

This is a cake I wanted to make for my friend that just moved into her house.

Just with making this cake on my own I know that my writing needs some work lol I have never had great handwriting. I can't wait to learn Fondant as well!

    Just imagine all that you'll learn in the next 6 weeks! You already have a talent for cake baking and decorating, I'm so proud of you for jumping into this. You'll be proud of yourself, too.

    You'll love the classes, I've been having so much fun learning! It's expensive though, just to warn you! You'll want all the supplies, all at once, and there's a lot!!

    I was lucky enough that my husbands mother took the class a little while ago and she has all the things I wil need! She bought the whole kit and it was 150 dollars. It has everything!
